Award-winning Royal wedding dress designer Sassi Holford was on hand to help the iconic Savoy hotel in London celebrate its 125th anniversary recently.
Top bloggers from the bridal, fashion and venue industry were invited along to a lavish bridal afternoon tea in the Savoy’s luxurious surroundings, and were treated to a selection of wedding-inspired cakes, a bridal showcase of Sassi’s 2014 collection and the chance to pick up tips and ideas from Sassi herself, as well as Savoy Weddings expert Bruce Russell.
“We’re here today at the Savoy hotel celebrating the best of British,” says Bruce. “We’ve partnered today with the iconic Sassi Holford and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to showcase some of her creations.”
“When we work with the Savoy, it’s working with a venue that has an uncompromising eye for detail,” says dress designer Sassi. “It’s quintessentially English but it has an international appeal.”
“I love the Art Deco vintage style that is still very popular with brides,” says Kat from Rock ‘n’ Roll Bride who also attended the event. “And the Savoy kind of epitomises that.”
